The ICDA is an organization of national associations of Dietitians and Nutritionists in over 40 countries and is widely recognized as the international organization for dietetics professionals.
AFDA is an association of national nutrition and dietetic associations in the Asian region. There are currently 11 member countries. AFDA organises the Asian Congress of Dietetics held every 4 years.
To foster international fellowship among nutrition scientists of the region, promote cooperative working arrangements and encourage the exchange of information and experiences in nutrition.
To promote advancement in nutrition science, research and development through international cooperation. And to encourage communication and collaboration among nutrition scientists.
